Yes, while Id like to see more of Luffy and his progress and some of the others, especially those off on the ship that we havent seen in over a year now I think, I enjoyed the way the show felt even more dangerous now thanks to this massive stone man striding slowly across the city causing a lot of damage. The last episode of One Piece was a fun one for me simply because I liked seeing Pica getting a chance to step up even more than he had previous with his abilities and scale. And Zorros method of getting closer is just a wonderful sequence from start to finish. Rikus face-off with him is good and the elements are put into play to make a difference here, but I find myself enjoying the slow build and reinforcing the scale of the threat thats presented. Some of it is silly, of course, as we get Usopp and his little group freaking out in a bigger way than anyone else, but the resole of those like Riku and Zorro is spot on.
The fear among your average citizens is real and understandable in the face of what Pica is and rightly so when you think about it. The sense of threat from Pica has definitely ramped up even more this episode as he closes in on Riku and the others at Sunflower Field and seeing the way it works through the first half as his presence and slow progress to this place works well.
